In accordance with our school themes of kindness, inspiration and celebrating each of us as "All Stars", the students of Northeast celebrated Dot Day. "The Dot" is a book written by Peter H. Reynolds that encourages all of us to make our mark on society. It further promotes creativity, acceptance, believing in oneself, and trying one's best. During the week of September 11th all of the students of Northeast were read this book. On Friday, September 15th each class celebrated in different ways by writing a "Dot Song" in music, making some digital dots in technology and creating some beautiful works of art in their classrooms. Students also made shirts with their families and wore them to school!
